Quickie Spaghetti

Quickie spaghetti is quick, simple and flexible. It started with boiling the spaghetti. Duh!

For the trimmings, the main thing for me would be the Italian sausage while the vegetables are flexible part, completely up to one’s fancy. For this quickie I got tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic and shallots.

After getting the slicing and chopping out of the way, fried the sausage in a pan. Using the sausage fat, (Trust me, those are the good stuff) browned the garlic and shallot for a couple of minutes before loading the vegetables. Seasoned with salt and pepper to taste, followed by a good splash of white wine and a drizzle of olive oil. Finally the spaghetti, cooked and drained by now, returned into the pan for a quickie toss.

Grub’s ready!
